ARTS ALLIANCE AMERICA AND GRAVITAS VENTURES COLLABORATE ACROSS HOME ENTERTAINMENT

LOS ANGELES- June 2, 2008 Gravitas Ventures, a world class new media distributor, and Arts Alliance America a leading independent DVD distribution company have signed a comprehensive multi-title licensing agreement. Under the deal, the acclaimed title What Would Jesus Buy, produced by Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me), will debut in millions of video on demand (VOD) households on December 12, 2008.

From producer Morgan Spurlock (SUPER SIZE ME) and director Rob VanAlkemade comes the serious docu-comedy What Would Jesus Buy? The film follows Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir as they go on a cross-country mission to save Christmas from the Shopocalypse: the end of mankind from consumerism, over-consumption and the fires of eternal debt! Through retail interventions at Wal-Mart and Disneyland, corporate exorcisms, and some good old-fashioned preaching, Reverend Billy reminds us that we have lost the true meaning of Christmas.

Upon starting the relationship, Nolan Gallagher Founder and CEO of Gravitas Ventures commented "Joe Amodei and the Arts Alliance America team are ideal partners who have for years released many acclaimed films in both theatres and for home entertainment. Arts Alliance America will now have an even broader audience for its industry leading feature films, documentaries, and sports content."
