Warner licenses Secret for VOD, PPV
Featurettes included with offering

AUG. 23 – Still a best-selling book and DVD at retail, The Secret next will be offered on video-on-demand and pay-per-view by Warner Bros. Digital Distribution starting Aug. 31.
Warner licensed VOD and PPV rights from TS Production LLC, which has distributed Secret DVDs to retail, for cable operators across the U.S. and other providers such as DirecTV, Dish, Verizon and AT&T.
Additionally, Warner will offer The Secret to hotel chains throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The Secret has been available to consumers for some time online and on DVD. But Warner is upping the content ante by including free extras to the feature film when accessed via VOD or PPV in certain markets. The added material encompasses four featurettes: "The Science of The Secret," an examination of the universal law revealed in the film; "Revealing The Secret," a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film; "The Secret to You," a guide to feeling inspiration daily; and "Discovering The Secret," an exploration of the origin of the movie. The first three also are on the DVD, but the last one is newly produced.
"This is just the beginning, and there is so much more to share with people," said Rhonda Byrne, creator and executive producer of The Secret. "It was created to empower people, and everything I do is focused on doing just that and bringing as much joy as I can to every single human being."
